Senior DevOps

 We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer and Systems Administrator with broad experience designing, running and maintaining secure, highly available Linux-based infrastructure. You’ll own the stability of our critical production systems, CI/CD automation and on-premise environments. 

• Design, run and maintain highly available Linux-based infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and optimize their performance.
• Automate build, test and deployment across development, test and production environments.
• Manage Git, branching strategies and release management, and administer GitLab (repositories, runners, permissions, backups).
• Design, deploy and manage Docker-based applications with proper service isolation.
• Manage the server lifecycle from provisioning to decommissioning.
• Tune system performance, plan capacity, analyze logs and resolve root causes.
• Manage VMware ESXi environments, optimize resources and monitor datastores.
• Implement monitoring with Prometheus, including alerts and performance indicators.
• Strengthen system and application security, manage security updates and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Design and test backup strategies and carry out disaster recovery plans.
• Work closely with development teams to keep production stable.
• Document standards and infrastructure, and standardize operating procedures.

• Extensive experience designing, running and maintaining secure, highly available Linux-based infrastructure (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Strong experience in systems administration and CI/CD automation with GitLab CI, including GitLab administration (self-hosted and managed).
• Experience with Docker and container-based application deployment.
• Experience managing VMware ESXi, on-premise and hybrid environments.
• Experience with monitoring using Prometheus.
• Solid knowledge of system hardening and security update management.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery (Veeam or similar tools).
• Proven record of keeping critical production systems stable and leading infrastructure migrations.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle incidents in a structured way.
• Strong documentation skills and effective collaboration with development teams.

• Operating systems: Linux (Ubuntu LTS, CentOS), advanced system tuning, service management, troubleshooting
• DevOps and CI/CD: GitLab CI, pipeline optimization, artifact management, Dev/Test/Prod environment separation, workflow automation
• Version control: Git, branching strategies, release management, GitLab administration (self-hosted and managed)
• Containers: Docker (Dockerfiles, images, networks, volumes), container lifecycle, isolated deployments
• Virtualization: VMware ESXi, VM management, resource optimization

• Security: OS and application hardening, update management, vulnerability remediation, secure access control
